"Dunn Designs, formerly Dunn & Tighe Interiors, pairs its classic design aesthetic with novel approaches to problems and solutions resulting in a fresh, memorable outcome that always has a dynamic impact whether it is a single piece of furniture or an entire room. Known for working with beautiful textiles, papers, finishes and materials (stone, metal and wood - old, new, aged and reclaimed) at all price points, the design team oversees the creative process from conception through execution. The collaborative process between Dunn Design and the client encourages the consideration of different perspectives ranging from the traditional to the unconventional and is always supportive and positive."
"Working with Leslie Dunn and her design team (to transform both our beach house and our primary home) has been a completely fabulous experience. Leslie is so creative, has impeccable taste, and an extraordinary eye for color and form but she is also very flexible and a good listener and has made sure to incorporate my ideas and needs in the process. Dunn Designs has created for us these beautiful, very livable rooms, with many fun, unexpected elements, that I could never have achieved on my own, yet that still do totally reflect me.”
"Dunn Designs brought my vision and style to life! I had Dunn Designs do a makeover on an old tired house when we downsized. They took the lead on the renovation and turned a small dark house into one the flows seamlessly and is open and bright. The paint colors, hardware and light fixtures are eyecatching for everyone who comes over. It is so much easier to work with an outfit that is small - the one on one personal touch you get is worth its weight in solid gold."
Now the fun begins! We will meet with you on the project site to take pictures, measurements of space and of existing furniture pieces if needed. Next we'll work on CAD floor plans to determine best use of space and furniture layout, as well as present furniture selections, fabrics, rugs and paint colors.
We will conduct an initial consultation in person or on the phone to discuss your style, home, and specific goals. After the consultation, you will receive a contract to review.
Finally, we will Implement the agreed upon design plan which can include all aspects of managing the project from coordinating with contractors, architects, painters and vendors.
Items that are in stock, 3-5 business days once payment has been made. Custom pieces can take between 8-16 weeks.
Depending on the vendor, we get between 10%-50% off items.
For labor charges, there is a 25% design fee and everything else is a 30% design fee on each item in your invoice (which is still a discount compared to the retail price).
